Society for Science at User Research Facilities

2021 Society for Science at User Research Facilities Annual Meeting

Our online two-day annual event has concluded, thank you to all the informed and brilliant scientists from the User Facility network who gathered to share ideas, learn, ask questions and be appreciated for all their incredible work! Topics ranged from climate change to COVID research to automated laboratory experimentation to Department of Energy priorities, science communication strategies, diversity issues in laboratories, exascale computing and much more.

We are sincerely grateful to all our speakers and presenters, your insights and details have prompted further discussions for SSURF activities and other connections between User Facilities and stakeholders. Thank you!!

You can see below the agenda from 2021; we will be creating a new webpage with all the session videos and materials. Here is one of the sessions, featuring Dr. Harriet Kung, the Deputy Director for Science Programs at the Office of Science of the U.S. Dept. of Energy.
