“Paper Mills and Research Misconduct: Facing the Challenges of Scientific Publishing”

On July 20, 2022 the U.S. House or Representatives Committee on Science, Space and Technology’s Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight held a hearing to discuss the current and future challenges in securing scientific literature from fraudulent academic papers.

SSURF is working with our partner ORCID  – which was mentioned as a resource in the hearing – to further inform this discussion with lawmakers on the resources to address this issue.
