CHESS is accepting proposals for beamtime

The Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source, CHESS, is a high-intensity X-ray source primarily supported by the National Science Foundation which provides our users state-of-the-art synchrotron radiation facilities for research in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental and Materials Sciences.

CHESS provides beamtime to users for typically 125 days per year distributed over three cycles. User can apply for beamtime each cycle through general user proposals and beamtime requests (BTRs) in the web-based User Portal system.

The proposal deadline is Friday, August 12th, 2022.
