2023 Society for Science at User Research Facilities Annual Meeting is Virtual

The 2023 Society for Science at User Research Facilities Annual Meeting is now free and open to all. Info and RSVP.

It is with disappointment that we find it necessary to change the upcoming Annual Meeting for the Society for Science at User Research Facilities to be all virtual: We’ve heard over the previous weeks from presenters and attendees whose plans have changed or are in a tentative status in the context of Congressional activites and our top priority is having a valuable and engaging event. Therefore, we believe that transitioning to a virtual-only format via Zoom is the responsible and necessary course of action.

Keynotes include Ian Wilson, Ph.D. Chair, Hansen Professor of Structural Biology, Department of Integrative Structural and Computational Biology at Scripps Research Institute. His lecture Title: “Antibody recognition of deadly human pathogens for structure-based vaccine and therapeutic design”. Also a keynote from Branden Brough, Director of the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office (NNCO).

plus a panel: “DEI Programs in User Facilities”, Congressional activity insight, DOE updates and numerous other presentations. See more details.

While we understand that face-to-face interactions and the unique atmosphere of an in person conference are irreplaceable, we are committed to delivering an engaging and enriching virtual experience. Our team is working diligently to ensure that the essence of the conference, including keynote sessions, panel discussions, and even networking opportunities, is preserved in this new format.
